Sve role si vybira peclive a ze ma vkus a styl, o tom netreba psat. Nekteri si ho mozna spoji s filmem "Babel", kde sice hral mensi roli, presto mi tahle role utkvela v pameti vic nez treba role Brada Pitta. Miluje stare filmy Milose Formana, konkretne film "Lasky jedne plavovlasky" je jeho nejoblibenejsi, na ktery by se pry dokazal divat porad dokola. Neda dopustit na prezidenta Havla. Dle jeho slov svet nepoznal mnoho podobnych osobnosti, jakym byl prave on.
No a duvod, proc o nem pisu zrovna ted a tady, je zcela prosty. Film s nazvem "No". Film natoceny dle skutecne udalosti. Film, ke kteremu se kazda spolecnost, vcetne te nasi, muze nejak vztahnout. Nikoli myslenka na samotny pad diktatury v Chile, nybrz myslenka na lidi, kteri necim takovym prosli, me naprosto pohltila. Tihle lide, kteri prozili cely svuj zivot v totalitnim systemu, bojovali proti nemu, meli tak sveho nepritele cislo jedno. Ovsem s prichodem demokracie toho nepritele ztratili. Zni to vcelku logicky, ovsem co kdyz ten nepritel pro vetsinu z nich byl smyslem jejich zivota? Ten odpor jim daval identitu. Kdyz zmizel, najednou nevedeli, co s nimi bude dal. Nevedeli ani, kdo ze vlastne jsou. A co teprve ti, kteri se meli dobre jak za totace, tak i po nem. Nemylte se. Nemluvim jen o vudci Pinochetovi, ktery zemrel jako milionar, ale jsem si jista, ze takovych mu podobnych najdeme v nasi zemi nespocet.
Samotny Gael rika, ze je na tento film opravdu hrdy. A to on nikdy nerika jen tak, opravdu nikdy. Tak myslim, ze po dlouhe dobe tu je zas neco, co opravdu stoji za to videt.
For sure you know this amazing actor. You probably remember him from famous Almodovar movie "La mala educacion". Everytime I see this man, it s a movie with big M. He is choosing his roles very carefully and there is no doubt he has a taste and style. Some could remember him also from "Babel" or "Amores Perros". He is just excellent actor, but not only this. He is big fan of our czech famous director Milos Forman and especially his first old movies as for example: "Lasky jedne plavovlasky" which he could watch again and again as he says.
The reason why I write about him now and here, is simple. Movie called "No". Movie inspired by truth story. Movie which can tell something to every country. The idea about fall of dictature in Chile didnt fascinate me enough. But the idea about people who lived throught this absorbed me completely. Imagine people living all their lives in dictatory system. This system becomes their ennemi number 1, they are fitting against it. But what then? What happen if they win and dictature is over? For majority of them, it was a sens of life, this fight made their identity. When it disappears, they loose themselves
and they dont know who they are.
Gael says that he is really proud of this movie. And when he says, he means it. Because he never says something like this. Really never.
