Moje osudove setkani s touto zenou probehlo v zari minuleho roku behem
Dreft Fashion weeku, na ktery jsem byla pozvana kamaradkou. Jednalo se
vubec o prvni modni prehlidku Ivany Mentlove ve spolupraci s boutique
Space. Vubec jsem netusila, co me na takove prehlidce muze potkat.
Totalni nepripravenost. Netusila jsem ani, kdo ze to vlastne ta Ivana
Mentlova poradne je... Neco malo jsem tusila a to diky krasnym
fotografiim Matuse Tothe, se kterym casto foti svoji novou kolekci, a
nebo diky fotkam krasne Grety Slezakove, se kterou se znam osobne, a
ktera se po Tatane Kucharove stala prave jeji novou tvari. To, co jsem
ale zazila na vlastni oci, me totalne odbouralo. Poprve jsem videla
neco, co se nejen da nosit, ale co je naprosto uchvatny, bozi, nadherny a
sexy. Proste presne ten styl, ktery mate pocit, ze dlouho hledate, a
nikde nenachazite a najednou ho mate pred sebou. Pocit nadseni vystridal
velmi rychle pocit zoufalstvi. Co delat, kdyz se vam libi naprosto
vsechny kousky z jeji kolekce? Chcete to vsechno a tak si rikate, ze se
smirite alespon s jednim dvema kousky. Netusite ovsem, ze jeden takovy
kousek, jako je treba kozesinova vesta, nebo kozena bundicka stoji
nekolik vasich mesicnich platu. Tato zena je pro me v oblasti mody
Bohyne. Pro me je inspiraci nove mody, kterou lze nazvat modou
jednoduchosti, punku a rocku dohromady. Nadherne dlouhe jednoduche saty,
nebo dlouhe sukne, ktere slusi i zenam mensiho vzrustu. No a v
neposledni rade to jsou prave ty prekrasne kozesinove vesty vsech
moznych barev, tvaru a kozene unique kousky. Brigitte Bardot by jiste uz
tak nadsena nebyla. Urcite doporucuji navstivit boutique Space Praga -
ktery se nachazi na Vezenske ulici 6. A ikdybyste si nic domu neodnesli,
urcite muzete aspon snit jako ja. A treba jednou ... kdo vi?

INSPIRATION BY IVANA MENTLOVA
Meeting with this special woman was in september last year during Dreft
Fashion Week in Prague, where I was invited by one friend. It was the
first fashion show of Ivana Mentlova in cooperation with boutique Space
where you can find her amazing work. I didnt have any idea of what I
could expect. I was not ready at all! I didnt even know who is this
woman called Ivana Mentlova? I had some idea thanks beautiful
professional pictures from very famous photographer Matus Toth. Then, I
saw something of her work at beautiful pictures of my friend Greta
Slezakova who has personified her new collection IM. But what I saw, it
was much more. I loved every piece of her clothes.... Not only that she
makes clothes which you really can wear but u look absolutely stunning
in that..It s mix of simple, puk, rock and at the same time it is
comfortable and sexy! What more to wish? And don't speak about
material...this is absolute beauty...what would say Brigitte Bardot, I
have some idea, she would not love that at all, cause Ivana doesnt use
fake furs...but as she says, this is what makes clothes perfect. The
only problem is the price... That s why I dream for now about her
pieces, but I have hope that maybe one day...one of those lovely pieces
could finish in my wardrobe...Who knows? If you want to buy, look or
